If you look thru the "WELCOME New Members and Readers" thread you'll see some funny posts about mispelling by the newspaper and by me . To keep me on my toes a bit more I'll run a contest until we have a winner. If you catch a mispelled word in a post of mine and reply about it correctly within that thread I will send you a Corky, 4" pink worm, a retired RT plug, and a note that "You are one cool dude with a good eye". If you have 2 eyes I will say '2 good eyes'. To be the winner of this contest will take the first person to catch a mispelled word twice by me and reply correctly twice about it in the corresponding threads. Remember that I use some slang words and also often leave off the letter g in words ending in 'ing'. They have to be mispelled regular words, not those type things. But I do not use a spellcheck thingy ('thingy' is slang, thus not mispelled), I simply do one quick proof read for corrections - and obviously miss some. To the 'caught ya again' winner I will send a package including an 8 oz. bottle of my custom scent formula, a bag of my custom "MC Hammer" egg cure with instructions, and a custom painted "RT's Injured Baitfish Plug or Kwikfish"; and of course a note saying "You are one very cool dude, with a great eye! Or eyes.".

First of all, "mispelled" is misspelled. You spell it m-i-s-s-p-e-l-l-e-d. Funny how young Schparkster missed that
(there are not one, not two, but four occurrences found in lines 3, 6, 8, and 9)

Not me, bro. Too sharp for that. "Mispelling", as listed by you is actually spelled m-i-s-s-p-e-l-l-i-n-g. (one occurrence found in line 2)

Fine. Send me your snail mail addys and I will send you the mini packs (or is it mini-packs, or minipacks? Doesn't matter, they are slang to me!). You 2 are one leg up on the competition. You must find 2 separate posts with a MISSpelled word . I get writer's latitude for my own style of punctuation, CAP usage, and spelling numbers or writing them out (such as 2 or two).

Just thought that I should take the better safe than sorry approach and reply again to state that RT misspelled "mispelled" four times. The word misspelling, spelled "mispelling" by RT, is also misspelled.

Yes Ryan, only separate posts made after the opening of this thread. And only misspelled words, not incorrect sentence structure. I also haven't had time to check on the modern college professor's acceptability of certain word enjoinments such as proofread and hyphenated/non-hyphenated words. ...

I forgot you worked at Ted's Ryan. Now technically, that was poor sentence structure because "Ted's Ryan" is noun possesive. Ted's doesn't own you - I don't think anyway . And Justin is a fishing tackle rep. Hmmmm. Geez, now there is 2 guys in deep need of one Corky, one worm, and a re'tired' plug . jk. I know, it's a matter of pride for you 2 dudes - and the bigger prize.
